| Porcelain Doll Description: Rae (originally known as Nakia before a name change) is a beautiful Black Porcelain Doll sculpted for Marie Osmond Collectors by Karen Scott. It is with great pleasure that Marie Osmond introduces Rae to her doll friends! Rae is a stunning African American porcelain doll beauty that is now the newest member of Marie's Collectibles Series. Rae stands a statuesque 23" tall. She is dressed in an antique gold silk dress and wears pretty vintage style lace-up boots. Rae has a multi-braid, faux mohair wig and captivating hand painted brown eyes. Rae is named after a dear friend of Marie's who is also a doll connoisseur. Rae is a collectible porcelain doll that has been created with original head, hands and feet by renowned doll sculptor, Karen Scott. She has been hand-crafted with the special attention that is the hallmark of all Marie Osmond dolls. Rae is hallmarked on the back of her neck with Marie's signature and is hand-numbered. This is a Limited Edition Series of only 1,500 pieces. Rae also comes with a Marie Osmond doll bracelet and a Certificate of Authenticity. This is a new in the box doll and has never been removed! We like the name change as this doll brings a RAE of Sunshine to any home! She just arrived at Count Your Beans on 7/26/02 and was seen on the QVC show on August 14th.
