| Porcelain Doll Description: Penelope is one of those dolls that is even prettier than her picture! The pictures you see above are copies of the catalog pictures we received from Marian. The final production of the doll is very similar but the doll just looks so more vibrant in person! Penelope is costumed in one of Marie Osmond's favorite colors, Wedgewood Blue (think powder blue). She is part of Marie's special Collectibles Series and has an adorable face which is highighted by a beautiful dress. This dress has a dark navy blue velveteen collar and accents trimmed with crocheted white lace. Penelope's long blonde curls gently frame her innocent, child-like face and as a fun twist, Marie named Penelope after her sculptor! Her inset eyes are a lovely shade of blue which matches her dress. Along with Penelope comes her very own dolly and as a nice touch, her eyes are the same color too. We did not take her out of the box, but we measured her at about 22 inches (box is 24") and her dolly at about 6 1/2-7" inches. The dolly wears a hooded dark velvet blue dress and is not attached so you may display her with Penelope how you please. Penelope is truly a collectible doll with original sculpted porcelain head, hands and feet by Penelope Carr. She has been hand-crafted with the special attention to detail that is the hallmark of all Marie Osmond dolls. Penelope is hallmarked on the back of the neck with Marie's signature and is hand numbered. This is only a series of 1500! With the doll comes a Marie Osmond Doll Bracelet and a Certificate of Authenticity.
