Tree Top Angel has been pushed back by Marian to mid-late December. Based on what we've been told, they are NOT guaranteeing a Christmas arrival. Clara the Nutrcracker Doll has been pushed back to February / March and this will be her last run.

11/18/02 - Our last contact with our Marian rep was on Friday. The doll shipping delays which were first announced a month ago are still impacting doll deliveries. Specifically, the dolls that were due to arrive in November will probably not be arriving to Marian until the first week of December or last week in November. They are hoping to have the dolls to retailers as soon as possible but a lot of the delay is out of their hands. Most dolls are probably expected to arrive to retailers by the 2nd week of December. To expedite your orders, we will ship as soon as possible. Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground/Insured delivery. (This is our default shipping method.) We do also offer UPS Overnight, 2 Day Select, 3 Day Select, USPS Express Mail and USPS Priority Mail service at additional cost.

The Tree Topper Angel will hopefully arrive in early December but Marian is NOT guaranteeing this doll for Christmas. Clara the Nutcracker Doll which was seen on QVC in October has had her ETA date pushed back again, this time to February 2003. We have been told that this will be the only shipment of this doll in 2003 and once the dolls are sold, the edition will be closed. This doll's ETA has changed many times so if we hear anything new or more positive we'll be sure to update our site!

During this busy holiday season, we ask that you bear with us as we do our best to expedite your orders and answer your questions as soon as possible. We appreciate your business and want to earn it for the long term. There are two of us behind Count Your Beans (Karen & John) and one little helper (Justin) and we're all dedicated to quick-turnaround. 10/17 - IMPT News - We received an email from our Marian Rep earlier today with important news about doll shipping delays due to the recent strike by dock workers here on the West Coast. Since so many doll friends have pre-ordered dolls from various retailers, we wanted to pass an excerpt of this email along so you could be prepared for possible delays and plan accordingly.

(excerpt beginning) "I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but today, that is what I am. I am not sure that everyone was aware of the west coast ports being closed for almost two weeks, but due to that situation, our shipments are running up to 4 weeks behind schedule. I will be sending out updates as I get them, but there will definitely be a delay on new product." (excerpt end)

Count Your Beans Customer Appreciation Club COMING SOON!

We are constantly updating our pages to reflect and respect Marian's New Pricing & Marketing Philosophies. We are committed to earning and retaining your business and are developing value-added features and special promotions to make your collecting experience more enjoyable.

During the first week of September, Marian released a new Marketing & Pricing Philosophies Letter to all their valued retailers. In this letter there are some important New Pricing Policy Recommendations from Marian that they would like all their retailers to implement. Specifically, Marian would like all retailers to sell New Dolls (dolls released in a 180 day period) at full suggested retail price. Suggested Retail price appears to be a bit subjective and we will discuss this in greater detail on our FAQ page.

Free Shipping and other Value-Added Benefits may be offered, however Marian would like to stabilize and enhance the collectibility of Marie Osmond's Premium Collector Doll Line. Dolls older than 180 days have more flexibility with pricing but should be represented with collectibility and image in mind.

We ask that should you have any questions or need any pricing quotes, you please write to John or Karen at countyourbeans@aol.com. Because of the volume of email currently being received, please allow up to 48 hours for a response, however we will do our best to respond within 24 hours or less. As always, we welcome your email and your continued support.

Although Marian has asked all retailers on two separate occasions to sell New Releases dolls at full suggested retail price, we have seen that there are a few Marian retailers which still feature discounted pricing on New Release dolls on their websites and in online auction. We don't want to lose your business so if you see the same doll offered for less on an authorized Marian / Marie Osmond Dealers website, please provide us a link and we will do our best to match or beat our competitor's price including S/H.

We want to reiterate that we will be doing our best to work to promote and enhance the collectibility and image of Marie Osmond's Dolls & Collectibles. We also received HOPE Always A Bridesmaid who is a pretty black doll and the second doll in the Always A Bridesmaid Series. Patience was the first and Faith will be the third.

8/10 - We have updated our New Releases Stock Section to reflect all of the new offerings that Marian & Marie Osmond have recently announced. This includes dolls being released in October, November and even one in October of 2003 (a Holiday Lolli called Holli Lolli ). The page also includes new arrivals from May through August 2002. October 2002 marks Marian's 1st Anniversary! Marie Osmond appreciates her collectors (as do we) and is offering a delightful array of new dolls. Please see our NEW RELEASES Section for more specific details. To help enhance the collecting experience and to give our customers the best qualified information, we are in the process of developing a separate page for each doll series as well as a page for each new doll.

Individual pages can be found by clicking the link under each doll's name on either our Main Marie Osmond Doll Pricing Page (items are listed alphabetically) or on it's appropriate Series page.

Full pages for each doll will be added shortly. Please note that some of the NEWER Dolls such as Amaya Holiday and the Snowflake Toddler are still in the development stages. As such, we appreciate your flexibility and will post pictures as they are available! Please feel free to pre-order any doll you like as deposits are fully refundable or transferable!

By the way, Marie has more in store for collectors than just doll and figurines! A Collectible Bear Line is being developed too! As we carry many of the old Knickerbocker Bears, we were thrilled to hear this news! More details are to follow in the future!!

Angelica's 1st Birthday Tiny Tot (new page) - Angelica's 1st Birthday tiny tot is all dressed up in her pastel birthday party dress. This little one as a toddler was part of a series of three in the Jessica's Best Friend Series. She is created by Beverly Stoehr and is a 5 1/2" seated porcelain beauty.

Ann Marie Holiday Tiny Tot (new page) - Ann Marie Holiday Tiny Tot is the smaller version of the Ann Marie Holiday Toddler. This 5" seated porcelain tiny tot sculpted by Sonja Bryer is dressed in a cream and gold holiday dress.

Doll For All Seasons Tiny Tot Trio (picture) - This tiny trio is a holiday decorating must. They are tiny verions of the Toddler Doll For All Seasons with three costumes: Halloween, Christmas and Thanksgiving. 3 1/2" seated

Four Seasons Spring Bouquet Doll (picture) - Spring is the 4th Doll in the Four Seasons Series and is another Sonja Bryer sculpt. She is dressed in a pretty soft pink embroidered organza dress and has a straw hat and basket of flowers. She is 15" standing on a porcelain painted base.

Four Seasons Winter Splendor Doll (picture) - Ring in the holidays with Winter Splendor. The third in the Four Seasons Series, this lovely doll sculpted by Sonja Bryer is dressed in a pretty red holiday silk dress with faux fur white cape, hat and bead handbag. She is 15" on a matching seasonal porcelain painted base.

Hansel & Gretel Tiny Tot Rag Dolls - different than the Petite Amours with cute red hair- Artist: Beverly Stoehr - ETA October 2002. Details soon.

Lavender Dress Doll - Lovely in Lilac - Artist: Kathy Smith Fitzpatrick - ETA October - Blonde doll in very fancy dress. Details soon.

Little Belle Beep - Nursery Series Debut - Artist: Marie Osmond - ETA to be determined - estimate Fall 2002 / Winter 2003 - Will most likely be a blonde with blue eyes. The Bo Peep costume is supposed to be quite elaborate and she will have a big hat.

Lolli Valentine's Day - originally scheduled for early 2003, will now arrive as early as November 2002. She is in a red and white dress and a picture is coming soon.

Lolli Holiday 2003 doll will be named Holly Lolli or Holli Lolli and is scheduled to be released in October 2003 (no typo!)

Shao Pang Asian Baby (picture) - This chubby little Asian baby is so cute you'll want to pinch his cheeks. Shao Pang means "little chub" in Chinese. Ping Lau created this doll and he is a personal favorite for Marie. Dressed in red oriental print satin with a line faux fur cap and cape, Shao Pang is a resin doll with resin head and hands and a cloth body with fiber and pellet filling. He is 14 1/2" seated.

Tree Top Angel (picture) - This is a first for Marie! This beautiful tree top angel has fiber optic wings. She will truly add a heavenly glow to your Christmas tree or as a table centerpiece during the holiday season. Dressed in a stunning iridescent burgundy taffeta with beads and rhinestone trim on the bodice, this doll also has stars & rhinestones scattered along the lower half of the skirt. Underneath are layers of more gold scalloped edge netting with more fiber optics. The angel reproduction face is a must for holiday decorating. The angel is 15" standing with porcelain head and arms.

IN GENERAL: Marian has informed us that a fair estimate of turnaround time for merchandise to be shipped from their warehouse to their retailers is 3 weeks. As an example, if something arrived at their warehouse September 1st, we might first it around the 22nd. We're passing this news along so that if you hear something is in stock or see it on TV, it may be in processing or in transit. We often are one of the first retailers to receive new orders, however because there are so many different clients that Marian serves, different retailers will receive their shipments of products at different times. We do our best to update our stock/pricing reports for each individual doll regularly.

When we get new information, we do our best to update our site, however please allow some flexibility as dolls sometimes come in early and sometimes are delayed.

For payment we accept money orders and checks. Personal and business checks are subject to a 7 business day hold, however if we've done business successfully with you in the past, we may waive part of this hold or all of this hold at our discretion. We also accept electronic checks and credit card payment through PayPal, Billpoint, Yahoo Pay Direct and BidPay. PayPal accepts Visa/MC/AmEx/Discover and Billpoint accepts Visa/MC/Discover. If an item is not in stock at the present time, we are happy to take a pre-order or special reservation for your doll. All we require is a $5 deposit per tiny tot or Adora Belle and a $10 deposit per larger doll. Please note that deposits are transferrable to another item or refundable should you change your mind after placing an order, however if your order is above $250 and you cancel completely, we do assess a $5 administrative fee.

We are happy to offer a flexible layaway program. At this time, we tailor our program to each individual. Please inquire for details.

Generally orders are shipped Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays except during certain times of the year when we may be out of town or closed for a holiday. During the busy holiday season, we will often add additional shipping days. We do our best to ship all orders the first business shipping day after payment clearance, however during especially busy times, please allow up to 3 business days for shipment.
