We are in the process of adding pictures of the new Adora Toddler dolls to our website. This year the suggested retail price on average and raised just slightly from $89.95 to $94.95. This year there are at least 22 new Toddler dolls and you're going to love the cute themes!

There will also be new Marie Osmond dolls that are expected to come out sometime in March. We have not received official word yet from Charisma as to when Marie will next be on QVC but have heard the mid - late March timeframe tossed out previously. We will likely be hearing about pre-orders soon as Charisma will be at the IDEX and Toy Fair doll shows. (Count Your Beans will not be there as both shows are cross-country and we still have young kiddos in school but we will be working with our Charisma reps to make sure we place our pre-orders.)

There will be new Adora, Kewpie and Marie Osmond dolls in 2012 but we don't have the particulars yet. We should know more later this month! We believe based on what Marie Osmond said previously that she will be back on QVC sometime in March but do not have a confirmed date at this point. We look forward to sharing the new collections with you and thank you for your support and patience!

Marie Osmond Love Makes The World Go Round with the correct music box just arrived into stock today at Count Your Beans. Those who pre-ordered will be contacted by the end of 10/9. We do have extras in case anyone is still looking for this lovely Marie Osmond sculpt!

We are still awaiting word on if / when Casperella arrived and shipped. This is also the same for Adora Frieda Fright Bitty Belle - Adora Kristi Krinkle Bitty Belle - Baby Boo (2nd shipment) - Harmony Twinkle Twinkle Tiny Tot & Harmony What Child is This Tiny Tot. We will post a new update when we have it.

We will be contacting all those who pre-ordered by the end of 9/28. Due to busy email and shipping volume, please allow up to 48 hours for a response for the next week. Thank you for your patience! Please note that if you are on the waiting list for 20th Anniversary Platinum Rose, 20th Anniversary Kissy My Heart, Adora Belle the Roaring 20th, Baby Olive Marie Heirloom Tiny Tot or My Perfect Pal, we will still not know if there are cancellations until after we contact all those who pre-ordered and hear back from them. We were not able to get any extra of any of Charisma's sold out dolls so waiting list fills will only be in the event of cancellation.

New shipping update: The authorized dealers' supply of New Marie Osmond August Show Dolls is currently expected to arrive at Charisma around 9/14 and ship to retailers shortly thereafter. Since they ship from Maryland and we're in Washington state, we're currently estimating an arrival time in late-September for all August Show Dolls. The exceptions are the 20th Anniversary Platinum Rose Doll / Book which has a 6 week QVC hold and has an ETA of mid-October and Love Makes The World Go Round which is being reworked at Charisma to change out the music box in each doll from "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" to "Love Makes The World Go Round".

Charisma Brands no longer has a regular Doll Hospital on site, however from time to time they still bring in Margaret for repairs. They don't stock spare parts any more so services would be limited. ** Important News ** about Love Makes The World Go Round - We confirmed today with our lovely rep at Charisma that due to an unfortunate factory error, the music box initially placed in the shipment of these dolls was "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" and not "Love Makes The World Go Round". Charisma and Count Your Beans are very sorry about this but will make it right! The good news is that Charisma's factory is working diligently to rework the dolls and make the situation right as soon as possible. As it does take a bit to fix, there will be a delay in retailers getting this doll and shipping to collectors, however it's much better to have the right doll with the right music box shipped together the first time so we definitely appreciate your patience, understanding and support. Marie sculpted this doll personally and wants it to be just right for collectors. When we have further information, we'll let you know. We will contact each pre-order via email personally by the end of the weekend.

We are still expecting the August show dolls minus 20th Anniversary Platinum Rose (ETA Oct) and Love Makes The World Go Round (ETA to be determined) to arrive at Charisma on / around 9/7 and ship shortly thereafter. We're hoping to have dolls in stock by Monday, September 19th since we're in Washington state and Charisma's warehouse is in Maryland. Thanks for your patience!

As always, Count Your Beans will be offering price matching for any dolls shown on Marie Osmond's August 26th show. We will automatically adjust pricing and Bonus Beans for anyone who pre-orders so you don't need to wait until the day of the show to know the sale price will be secured. We also still offer Free UPS Ground S/H in the USA on shipped orders of $75 or greater and partial shipping credits to international customers.

At this time, Charisma has not yet decided to offer the 20th Anniversary Book separately from the Platinum Rose doll. They may decide to do so in the future but at this time, she is not available for pre-order / purchase separately. If that changes, we'll be sure to post.

Charisma Brands has planned to release pictures and descriptions of the August dolls on July 26th, so we're looking forward to being able to present that information to you so you may learn more about the special dolls coming up and have the chance to place pre-orders. Some dolls are going to be very limited and will likely sell out on-air so we definitely do recommend pre-orders!

Marie Osmond's next show on QVC will be her 20th Anniversary show and it will be on Friday, August 26th. No times have officially posted yet, however we will make an update when we have one. We are hoping to receive official pictures and descriptions of the August dolls around July 26th to be able to post on our website. Thank you to all who have been so patiently waiting. We still have some Artist Proof, First Production Sample and very Low COA (#6) dolls to offer to Count Your Beans doll friends and collectors! Last year we did auctions via our blog. For dolls that were not sold, we will be starting to list some at eBay in the next couple of weeks. There are also a few that we never listed previously for auction. John and I are deciding whether we want to do a silent auction or eBay auction. If interested in being notified when we make our decision, please let us know.

We received an email on Friday letting us know that pictures and descriptions for the August release Marie Osmond show dolls are expected to be released to retailers one month prior to the show. This puts the date at approximately July 26th. Most dolls will be limited in edition size. We have already pre-ordered an allocation and as soon as we are given the go-ahead to release additional information, we will place it upon our website.

We were getting kind of low on Adora Toddler, Baby and Limited Edition dolls so we placed a re-order and expect many toddler and some Limited Edition dolls back into stock around July 15th. Please see our Adora pages for details. Some dolls are still on back-order with Charisma but we re-ordered the styles that were available.

We are back in town and shipping orders! Thanks for your patience while we were away!

While we were away, many asked about when pictures and descriptions of the Marie Osmond August show dolls were to be released officially to retailers from Charisma Brands. At this time, we have not yet received any new information but we will be happy to post when we do!

We did read online through twitter that Marie Osmond will be having a 20th anniversary party in Las Vegas in late October. She is touring throughout the summer but is still scheduled to be at QVC on August 26th for her 20th anniversary dolls shows. We also learned that she and Donny will be entertaining guests on a cruise in early 2012. Additionally, Marie is due to have an upcoming guest spot (or more?) on the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. Busy times!

Hi everyone! We have a new light blog up at http://www.cybdeals.blogspot.com. Nothing ground-breaking but there are a couple cute pictures of our kids at Easter time we thought it would be fun to share. (Proud mom & dad brag photos!) We hope that everyone who celebrated had a lovely Easter weekend. We spent some great family time with our sons and everyone had a nice holiday.

On Thursday, John and I were able to get a sneak peek at a variety of new dolls announced for retailers to be offered in August. There are some really great dolls coming! Marie Osmond's 20th anniversary show on QVC is tentatively scheduled for August 26th according to a tweet from Marie @marieosmond on Twitter. (This did not come from Charisma.)

Sometimes Charisma employees or Marie Osmond share tidbits on Twitter or Facebook and we do feel comfortable passing that information along since it has been made public by an employee of the company.

(Edit -- Information about the 20th Anniversary Doll has been removed due to some confusion and misunderstanding on our part about what amount and type of new doll information is allowed to be retweeted or shared by retailers before a Marie Osmond doll show. On 4/27, it was requested for the future not to post information about a specific new release doll until that doll is in hand. We're assuming it is okay to still post descriptions if they are released and to take pre-orders. We thought that it was okay if it had been tweeted or talked about on TV or in social media by Marie or a Charisma employee that we could share or answer questions about that product. We also had thought it was not breaking any rules to talk in general terms about series or sculptors that were upcoming since this had been allowed in the past. Charisma would prefer to be the ones to answer any questions about new releases since they have the creative control and things often change before final production. We support Charisma and Marie Osmond and look forward to the information they will be sharing about the upcoming August releases! Thanks so much for your support! end of edit 4/27)

We'd like to share more at this time, however Charisma wants to build up the suspense and has not finalized all the show dolls yet. Yesterday, Peggy Charisma and Charisma Brands showed new Marie Osmond dolls on air in Canada on The Shopping Channel. They had some amazing anniversary prices on the Retail Exclusive Launch dolls that retailers had here in the USA as well as other new Marie Osmond dolls. If you live in Canada, we hope you were able to take advantage of the dolly deals.

TSC does not ship outside of Canada so what we're doing for our Count Your Beans customers is price matching the TSC price shipped (as if you were buying in Canada and shipping to Canada) and then converting from Canadian dollars to US $. We compared pricing with the pricing already on our site and made additional adjustments accordingly. Please check our Osmond Pricing Pages for special sales and reductions. Please also see our note below from 4/10 about other price adjustments.

Marie Osmond Love and Laughter Along The Way Toddler and a partial order (about half) of Marie Osmond Pie Jesu Fashion Doll just arrived this afternoon at Count Your Beans. All those who prepaid will have their orders shipped on 4/13. All those who pre-ordered and have not yet paid will be contacted and invoiced by 4/14. Thanks so much for your patience in waiting for these dolls to come in. We do have extras of Love and Laughter currently available and once we get the balance of our Pie Jesu dolls we should have a few extra there too.

Adora Doll Costumes have been added to both our Adora Babies page and Adora Toddlers page. These costumes were made to fit Adora 20" (head to toe) dolls and will fit many other 18" - 20" baby dolls as well.

Today we noticed that a very large competitor and TV shopping network placed a majority of the Marie Osmond March 2011 dolls on "clearance". Yikes! This happened just a little over a month after Marie's show. Generally, the policy that Charisma Brands outlines is that authorized dealers should not discount a new doll for the first six month after release unless 1) It is a QVC, TSC or other TV shopping price match, 2) It is a Charisma Brands / Paradise Galleries price match, 3) It is a holiday themed doll, 4) Charisma otherwise authorizes the discount (usually by offering their own special pricing through coupons on dolly deal specials).

We were very surprised to see the new pricing so quickly after Marie's show and with some dolls to such a great degree. As a family-owned business and small retailer it definitely impacts us as we purchased stock of inventory at certain levels assuming the market price for the dolls would be at a certain level for the first six months in the marketplace. We want to be fair to our customers, abide by Charisma guidelines, still be competitive in the marketplace and have the chance to make a reasonable profit so we may stay in business. We always want our customers to feel they are being treated fairly and are having a chance at special sales.

After careful consideration, we have decided to match the new QVC "special" (non-show) pricing on almost all items. Bonus Beans have been adjusted accordingly. In a few cases, we took their special and added their shipping to give our price match because a few dolls were priced where it would be at a loss for us otherwise. We are sorry to say that the prices are not retroactive to previous orders or layaways and are for new orders only.

Once we sell out of a specific doll at this special price, we will likely not be re-ordering unless pricepoints to us make it economically feasible to do so. Shipping costs have risen considerably this past year and with shipping to us and the shipping we subsidize on most orders, we're stocking a lower level of inventory on most items. Those who received special promotion coupons may still use them on most website items, however there are a few dolls we are not allowing coupons on including Adora Bea Happy, Elephant Fun, Hydie and Sweet Baby Bridgette due to the level of additional price match discount just given.

New updates throughout the site today! Charisma should have shipped Marie Osmond Pie Jesu and Love and Laughter Toddler to us and other retailers. We are hoping to have them in hand around April 13th or April 14th and will start sending invoices shortly.

New Adora Toddler & Baby dolls are also in stock. Charisma pushed back the ETA on the new candy themed 2011 Kewpies until a mid-April arrival to them and a late April arrival to us. We do have the new Sailor Boy Kewpie in stock. The Sailor Girl Kewpie doesn't have an official ETA yet but we're currently thinking sometime in May.

Collectors are starting to receive their Marie Osmond March show dolls and the review are coming back positive! Marie and Charisma listened to your requests for more porcelain and the vast majority of the new group of toddlers does have more porcelain in the arms and legs than on average in the past couple of years.

A particularly substantial toddler doll is Hydie who is dressed in ovely in shades of purple and was a special Collector's Choice production.

Occasionally there are changes in final production photos and one change we wanted to bring up was with Elephant Fun. The childlike face on this cutie is just precious. Ping Lau did a great job sculpting her. In final production, Charisma changed from red Mary Jane shoes with white socks to blue slippers which match her dress. We do not have a revised photo but have made notes on our ordering page. Although Charisma does say when releasing stock photos that details are subject to change in final production, we apologize for any confusion. We try to post changes as we know of them.

Early first run sell-outs at CYB were It's Been A Hoot, Adora Belle My Angel, Adora Belle Bea Happy, Little Lovey, Elephant Fun, Cute As A Button, Sweet Baby Bridgette, Wish Upon A Starfish Mermaid Tiny Tot and When Irish Eyes are Smiling. We have already re-ordered and received second shipments of all of the above except Little Lovey, Wish Upon A Starfish Mermaid Tiny Tot & When Irish Eyes Are Smiling which are due back in within 7 - 14 days.

We still do not have stock photos from Charisma for any of the 4 Harmony Tiny Tot dolls, Pie Jesu or Love and Laughter Along The Way Toddler. We have asked on multiple occasions but were told that Charisma has been having problems with their server and being able to add photos to the B2B (Business to Business) website. As the Marie Osmond Harmony Let Me Call You Sweetheart Tiny Tot should be arriving to us before the end of the month, we will take a picture of her when she comes in. We don't have the Pie Jesu or Love and Laughter Toddlers yet since they have first 4 week holds with Charisma but as soon as we have a picture (stock photo or actual) to share, we will. Did you get the chance to catch Marie on QVC on March 7th? According to Charisma, this was Marie's best show for selling dolls in the last couple of years. Being that 2011 is her 20th Anniversary of producing dolls, the dolls this year so far have been very popular. We have stock right now of almost all the show dolls with more inventory arriving next week.

Amaya Celebrations, Delilah Daisies, Duck, Duck Goose and Harmony Let Me Call You Sweetheart Tiny Tot are supposed to be arriving to Charisma this week and shipping shortly thereafter. We hope to have them in stock in 1 - 2 weeks. Adora Bitty Belle dolls Lively Lucy and Paris Posh and Patti Princess are supposed to arrive to Charisma around 3/15 and we hope to have them in stock at Count Your Beans in about 2 weeks There is currently no ETA for the A Treat for Mom Keepsake and Happy Birthday Keepsake. Charisma is hoping at this point for late March, early April.

Both Pie Jesu and Love and Laughter Along The Way Toddler have first 4 week holds with QVC and should start shipping to retailers around April 7th. We're hoping to have both in stock in mid April.

A note about the new 2011 dolls. There are new Certificates of Authenticity and new hang tags. There is not a Marie Osmond doll necklace or bracelet included with dolls this year unless it is jewelry specific to that doll.

Marie Osmond's next show on QVC should be in August 2011. There will be some dolls coming in before then such as Harmony Good Old Summertime Tiny Tot (June), Adora Ramona Royale Bitty Belle (June) and Adora Lottie Love Bitty Belle (June). There may be others as well. We will post more news as we learn it!

Charisma expects many of their March show dolls to sell out at the manufacturer. We're trying to order this year close to collector demand so we don't carry a lot of excess inventory so if there is a particular doll you're looking at but haven't ordered and her edition size is low, please keep that in mind as we don't want you to have to miss out on a special wish list doll. Well, doll fans, we at Count Your Beans are EXCITED to say that many of the new Marie Osmond 2011 March dolls are currently in transit to us now from Charisma. Not all dolls have arrived yet at Charisma and some allocations are being broken up into multiple shipments. We've been told they are expecting many containers arriving back-to-back this month and so if you don't see a doll on the March 7th list, it shouldn't be too far behind.

We will be offering QVC price matching for Marie Osmond dolls placed on special during these two shows. I will update the website as quickly as I can to reflect this. Please know that if you have pre-ordered a doll with us already and the price is lower when shown on QVC, we will automatically go ahead and do the price match. Please note that with price matches, the Bonus Beans we offer are adjusted as well. We also have discretion on if we will match the QVC total price with shipping or the QVC price without shipping. Generally we match the QVC price without shipping but if the discount is too substantial for it to be profitable for us, we will match their price with shipping included.

Hi Count Your Beans doll friends! We haven't had much new news to report lately with Charisma Brands but we're hoping that will change very soon. Marie Osmond will be showing many of her March 2011 line of dolls on QVC on Sunday, March 6th from 10 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. PST and Monday, March 7th from 11:00 a.m. to Noon PST.

** Adora - Many containers of new dolls are expected to arrive to Charisma in March. We are expecting many of the new Adora Babies and Toddlers to arrive at that time. More specific times aren't available right now but we'll post more information as it becomes available.

** Marie Osmond March dolls - We've been told that many have arrived at Charisma and should start shipping to retailers this week (excluding QVC first 4 week hold dolls Marie Osmond Pie Jesu and Love and Laughter Along The Way Toddler). As Charisma ships from Maryland and we're in Washington, we are hoping to get our first shipment of dolls in stock by the middle of next week. It is expected that shipments are staggered but those who pre-ordered with us will have their dolls allocated first.

We expect sales to come in on show day and the few days afterwards. If we sell out of our pre-ordered dolls, we will place a re-order with Charisma. If interested in any of the popular lower edition dolls or DOTY Award winning dolls, we recommend pre-ordering early or on the day of the show if possible. Some of our first expected shipments are almost sold out in pre-order. As it's been awhile since Marie has been on QVC and pre-orders are coming in at a different rate than previously, we are being cautious with our ordering numbers. Pictures for these dolls were released by Charisma because these dolls are not scheduled to be on the March Marie Osmond QVC show. They also put up information on the Charisma site for the 4 Harmony Tiny Tots - Let Me Call You Sweetheart, What Child Is This, Twinkle Twinkle and Good Old Summertime as these will also be retail exclusive launches, however the pictures at Charisma show the toddlers and not the tiny tots so please keep this in mind when pre-ordering as the dolls do look different in miniaturized form. There was also a large photo of Adora Kristi Krinkle for the Bitty Belle so we're waiting her her final picture as well.

We appreciate your patience and support and are gladly accepting pre-orders now. Please note that some of these dolls listed above are scheduled for release later in the year. We have given the current estimated month of arrival on each pre-ordering page.

** The only 4 week hold dolls on the QVC show that we were told about were Pie Jesu Fashion Doll and Love and Laughter Along The Way Toddler. All the other March show dolls we should be getting pictures for around February 7th, a month before Marie's March 7th QVC shows.

** We received a follow up email from our rep at Charisma saying that the doll pictures for the Marie Osmond doll show on QVC March 7th would not be released until one month before the show or approximately February 7th. Since the show was pushed back to March 7th, that means that the retailer supply of show dolls should start shipping approximately 10 days before show day if all works out okay with timing that the warehouse receiving the dolls.

QVC first 4 week hold dolls Pie Jesu and Love and Laughter Along the Way Toddler won't have their pictures released until around March 7th, show day. Pie Jesu and Love and Laughter Along the Way have a first 4 week hold with QVC so they should start shipping to retailers at the end of March, early April.

There will be some dolls that are considered Retail Exclusive launches that will not be shown on Marie's March QVC show that we should get official images and descriptions for later this week. Charisma is have some IT issues right now and so this information has been temporarily delayed. We appreciate your patience and support and will publish more information as soon as we have it.

** We were able to see part of a Marie Osmond dolls presentation online at the B2B site. The presentation will be posted in full to us and other retailers later. For now, the information we learned that was new was added to the description pages on our website.

** Love and Laughter Along the Way, Marie's theme for 2011 and theme toddler doll will be Musical and sculpted by JoAnn Pohlman. It WILL play "May Tomorrow Be A Perfect Day". This was the closing song on Donny & Marie's variety show. "May tomorrow be a perfect day... may there be love and laughter along the way..."

** New Kewpie, Penny Brite and the balance of the Adora pictures should hopefully be available to us soon. Most of the new Adora 2011 pictures are already up on our website and there are a LOT of amazing quality cuties in the bunch!

** CHANGE IN DATE ** Marie Osmond will be back on QVC debuting her first selection from her 20th Anniversary of dolls on Monday, March 7th. The original date proposed was February 14th but last night Charisma updated their website to reflect a new show day of March 7th.

** We received an email from Charisma saying that pictures were going to be released to retailers via Charisma's business to business site this weekend. We weren't sure if the show being pushed back until March 7th would have an impact on the date of the release of the pictures. Hopefully not! We will post them when we have them!

** We also added 21 Limited Edition Adora dolls with pictures and descriptions to our website for pre-order. These are the intricately designed collectible dolls with costumes from around the world. We invite you to check out the detail that goes into these dolls!

Special note regarding Keepsakes announced for 2011: The Keepsake face sculpt for the Sweet Celebrations Keepsake Series and Love & Laughter Along the Way Keepsakes is the old style Keepsake face sculpt that Marie Osmond and Charisma offered prior to 2010. Additional Note: The 38 Marie Osmond dolls listed are NOT all the new dolls for 2011. They consist of the February show dolls and a lot of the smaller series dolls they may / may not be retail exclusive launches. Marie Osmond's Pie Jesu Fashion Doll that was introduced when Marie was on Oprah on 11/11 is available for pre-order. Her retail price will be $139.95 and she should be available around March 2011 (possibly February). Her costume is supposed to be very elaborate and expensive and the COAs are supposed to be signed by both Marie and the designer, Kim Goodwin. This doll will also be presented on Marie's next QVC show. The date isn't yet set but expected to be around February 2011.

We are sold out of our first shipment of Adora Belle Holiday 2010 but should be receiving a small second shipment by the end of next week. If you are interested in this cutie and have not yet added her to your collection, we highly recommend pre-orders.

When we called today, we were told the dolls had not yet arrived but should be coming in any time (probably Tuesday or Wednesday) and would ship out immediately thereafter. We are hoping this is the case and we will have the dolls in stock by the middle of next week. We spoke today with Tracy at Charisma. The August show dolls did arrive successfully in Maryland and the vast majority will be shipping out to us and other reatilers today. Since we're across country and the Labor Day holiday adds a day, we hope to receive our supply of dolls into stock either Thursday, September 8th or Friday, September 9th. Please see 8/27 post for the list expected to be on the way.

Update: The Adora Belle Making Miracles doll is porcelain and not vinyl as originally reported. She should be coming into stock at the same time as the other August shows dolls.

Update: Hannah Grace and Andelyn Wickedly Cute are sold out at CYB and Charisma. We are taking waiting list reservations, although at this point, unless we have cancellations, we are sorry to say that it is unlikely we'll be able to fill waiting list orders.

** We heard from Tracy at Charisma on Friday, May 28th that the production of Andelyn Giddy Up Toddler, initially scheduled for September has been cancelled. Those who pre-ordered this doll with Count Your Beans will be contacted shortly. We will either refund your deposit in full or if you prefer to keep it on account or transfer it to another doll, we're happy to accommodate you. Andelyn fans, don't despair, you may see this cutie again later this year!

** There have been some changes to the line-up of August show dolls. The fairy we were expecting has been dropped and a few other dolls have been postponed as well. There will be a couple retail exclusives during this time frame as well. We are hoping to be able to list the August show dolls on our website a month before the show. We are not sure yet when official pictures or descriptions will be released.

** We confirmed today that the Harmony Let Me Call You Sweetheart Toddler (originally promoted with brown eyes) will only be produced with blue eyes. There will not be a brown-eyed version, however the blue-eyed version is still incredibly pretty and sold out when presented on air at QVC in late April! Charisma will be producing a brown eyed blonde doll in August but it is not a Harmony doll and it will be a completely new sculpt that we have already pre-ordered!

** Please check the Count Your Beans blog post from 5/2 for new Shipping Updates and Information regarding incoming Spring Marie Osmond dolls. We are still awaiting our dolls in transit. We received about 10% of our order today but the vast majority have not yet arrived so we're not going to put them as in-stock on our website until our complete order is physically in. ** Production Change: In final production the eye color on Harmony Let Me Call You Sweetheart Toddler was changed from brown to blue. This is a DOTY Award Nominated sculpt for 2010. For those who pre-ordered, if you decide after seeing the doll on air or in picture at QVC that you would prefer to change your deposit to a different doll, we will gladly accommodate you. We still think she's a very lovely doll but wanted you to know about the change as soon as we found out, 4/26/10.

** Confetti & Cupcakes Keepsake, Red, White & Blue Keepsake & Adora Paper Roses Bitty Belle are coming to Charisma on a separate container than the rest of the March / April Spring dolls. Charisma estimates 1 - 2 weeks behind. We will keep you updated.

** Adora Ruella Raspberry Mop Top Belle is selling out VERY quickly! Charisma is oversold and she won't be back until 4th quarter 2010. Our supply is in transit and we're about 85% pre-sold.

** Important Shipping Update! The March / April / Spring 2010 dolls were supposed to have shipped from Charisma's MD warehouse on Friday, April 23rd. We are hoping to get a manifest list on Monday, April 26th. Assuming the dolls shipped on time, we are expecting the dolls to arrive on Friday, April 30th. Once we receive a list of what physically shipped, we'll start sending out emails and invoices so that we can help expedite your order for quick turnaround once the product is in. We have not heard back yet whether the dolls that were originally going to be 4 week holds are shipping now or in 4 weeks. (We're suspecting the latter but will confirm here as soon as we know!)

** SURPRISE SHIPMENTS Coming! Count Your Beans is working with Charisma Brands to bring you some special dolls from the Charisma Vault! These are dolls with Low COA #s (mostly # 5 or # 6) and some Artist Proof / AP dolls that are mostly AP 1, 2 or 3. ** Hello Count Your Beans Doll Friends! I apologize for not updating this page sooner. Truth be known, there hasn't been too much new news with Charisma Brands recently. I will be blogging at http://www.cybdeals.blogspot.com either tonight or on 4/18 with more extensive website updates.

** For now, I did want to confirm that Marie Osmond is scheduled to be showing her Spring doll line on Monday, April 26th from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. PST at QVC. (That's 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. EST) If you'd like to tune in to her Jewelry show, that will be starting an hour earlier at 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. EST

** In the recent past, Charisma had been shipping new dolls to retailers from 2 separate locations. Some dolls were shipped from Southern California which of course we liked because it was more cost-effective for us and the dolls arrived sooner. The rest of the dolls shipped from an outsourcing warehouse in Maryland.

We learned recently that Charisma has decided to ship all the Spring 2010 dolls from the Maryland warehouse. What this means for Count Your Beans customers is that it will take a week for us to receive the dolls from the day they physically ship them. Add to that a few days for inventory and processing time and receipt time can be anywhere from 5 - 10 business days.

We mention this because as of 4/8, we had heard the dolls would be arriving to Maryland in mid-April around the 15th. This would allow enough turn-around time for us to hopefully receive the dolls by Marie's 4/26 QVC show. Unfortunately, when John was on the phone with a Charisma rep late last week, it was speculated that the arrival date to Maryland for the Spring dolls was going to be late April. This means we may not have the Spring dolls in hand at Count Your Beans until the end of April, early May. We appreciate your patience and support and will keep you posted as we know more. For those purchasing for Mother's Day gifts, we are still hoping to be able to make those deadlines but it is dependent on how quickly Charisma's warehouse gets the dolls and turns them around. To the best of our knowledge, based on a conversation we had with a Charisma Brands employee on Friday, April 2nd, Marie Osmond's next Marie Osmond doll show on QVC is still tentatively rescheduled for Monday, April 26th at 2 p.m. PST with her jewelry show an hour prior. These shows are currently showing up on QVC's April schedule.

** The March show dolls that were to be seen on QVC will still be shipping to Count Your Beans and other retailers. Charisma has told us that we should expect the March Retail Exclusive Launch dolls and March QVC show dolls to start shipping to us sometime in mid-April. ** Good news! We received an email update from Charisma today! The professional images and descriptions will be available to retailers from Charisma on Monday, March 1st for the Marie Osmond dolls that will be shown on the March 29th QVC show. The exceptions are the dolls Charisma & QVC have chosen as 4 week holds as well as exclusive launch dolls. The "hold" and "exclusive launch" doll images and descriptions will be availalbe on March 29th, the day of Marie's show on QVC.

** According to Charisma, the retailers supply of March dolls (both QVC show dolls and Retail Exclusive launch dolls) is running a little behind schedule due to Chinese New Year. As such, product is expected at this point to arrive to Charisma around the first week of April and Charisma will ship out to retailers as soon as possible afterwards.

** We WILL be getting in a small supply of Darlene A Sprinkle of Sunshine, the Toy Fair Exclusive Marie Osmond doll limited to 150 pieces worldwide. This doll is expected to ship out to us in early March and we are currently accepting pre-orders on our website. (Those who contacted us for pre-order prior to today have been written down on our list and will be emailed sometime in the next 48 hours.)

** I recently added Harmony Let Me Call You Sweetheart to our website for pre-order! This doll sculpted by Karen Scott just won a DOTY / Doll Of The Year Award over the weekend at IDEX! The reason we didn't have this doll up on our website earlier is that she was one of the hush hush dolls being shown on QVC at the end of March that we weren't allowed to share about until Charisma Brands released official permission / information. Since Peggy Vicioso at Charisma tweeted a picture of this doll over the weekend and shared Charisma's DOTY win, we figured it was safe to assume we could now add her to our site. Official pictures and descriptions are not yet set to be released until the beginning of March but I included the information I knew plus a link to Peggy's Twit Pic.

** We read in a posting on the MDF Forum that Peggy Vicioso told a doll friend that Marie will be having a show on QVC on March 29th. We haven't officially received this scoop ourselves, so we sent off an email to our rep to confirm the details. We also queried as to the ETA status for the Marie Rock This Town Fashion doll as we were told last year she should be arriving sometime this month.

** Just in case you haven't been to our blog yet, Charisma Brands will be showing new dolls at IDEX in late January and at Toy Fair in mid-February. They will be debuting new Adora, Inc. dolls for 2010. I'm not sure if that means they will be showing new Marie Osmond dolls as well, but I would guess that is the case. As John and I will not be able to make the cross-country trip for either show due to our boys' schedule, we are hoping that we'll get a chance to pre-order Marie Osmond, Kewpie and Adora dolls and other Charisma Brands product line dolls in advance. We'll blog about it when we have details!

Happy New Year! Let's make this a great one! Count Your Beans is excited about some new changes we'll be making in the next year. The first is our new blog. This is a work in progress but we plan for it to replace this news page by the end of the month.

We are technically still closed until Monday, however I will be updating the site over the weekend and John and I will both be answering emails. We have about 200 items currently up at eBay and are offering some great new Winter Specials!

On our alphabetical pages, we give an estimated time for new product to arrive at Count Your Beans. These estimates are provided to us by Charisma Brands and therefore are subject to change at any time.

We know how frustrating it can be to be excited about a doll and then find out it is delayed or comes in very early. Unfortunately, estimated times of arrival are just estimates and delays or allocation changes are generally beyond our control. For the most recent information on ETA updates, allocations or description changes, please read our regular news updates in our "Charisma Brands Tidbits" section above.

Depending on demand and allocation, we may receive multiple shipments for the same item so if something has recently arrived and sold out, we will also indicate approximately when the next shipment is expected to arrive if we have an official ETA from the manufacturer.

As we've received some very common questions many times in the past few months related to shipping/allocation, I thought I'd post the questions and answers here so that everyone could see:

Why is it that some retailers receive their dolls faster than others? Does Charisma have a Priority Ship program?

There are many reasons why one retailer may receive a doll faster than another. One reason is obviously geographic location. Charisma Brands is located in Southern California and ships some dolls from Southern CA and some from a warehouse in Maryland.

As far as Count Your Beans shipments are concerned, we are zoned in a residential district in Vancouver, WA . Shipments from Charisma in Southern CA usually arrive at Count Your Beans in 3 - 4 business days from the time Charisma ships. Shipments from their East Coast Distribution Center (older merchandise) usually arrive in 5 - 6 business days (7 - 8 calendar days) from the time Charisma ships. In the big scope of things, a few days wait doesn't usually matter much to most customers but when one is excited about getting a new dolly, we understand everyone would like her as soon as possible! As such, once we get the dolls in, we do our best to turn them back around as soon as we can, usually within 2 business days after payment receipt.

Larger retailers such as Count Your Beans often do have a "Priority Ship" status with Charisma Brands. This means that we're one of the first shops to have our orders processed but as Charisma Brands has quite a few customers and not everyone can be first, we've noticed that "first shipment" tends to rotate among the shops. This helps even the playing field. The date that a retailer places an initial order will also have a big effect as well. For example if we ordered 25 Happy Dolly dolls on 2/9 to ship in August and then pre-sold all of those and ordered another 25 more on 6/15 for August delivery, our second 25 might not ship with the first grouping. Whether that second 25 arrives in Charisma's first or second allocation depends on how many dolls they have coming in, how many they've presold and how many are already allocated.

In layman's terms, allocation means to distribute according to a plan or to set apart and designate for a specific purpose.

In relation to Marie Osmond dolls, allocation comes into play during different occasions. For example, if there is a specific doll that is extremely popular but has a limited edition size (i.e. 150), in order to be fair to all retailers, each retailer will have the opportunity to order and receive an allocation of a minimum or maximum # of dolls. Sometimes that maximum number is pre-determined, such as is the case with Catherine Elizabeth, sometimes it is dependent on demand.

More typically though, allocation takes place when dolls arrive at Charisma Brands in split shipments. For example, say 300 "Happy Dolly" dolls arrive at Charisma Brands in their first shipment and 800 are due three weeks later. All 1100 of their dolls are pre-sold. Who gets the first 300?

(Method A) Well, in order to be fair and give every retailer a chance to get some of this hot new doll, Charisma may just ship a few "Happy Dolly" dolls out in their first shipment to each shop based on a percentage allocation system. For example, they may ship 10% of each shop's order in the first allocation and 90% in the second allocation.

(Method B) Alternatively, they may choose to ship all the small orders first and the bigger orders second as this saves on shipping and is faster to pack.

Is this always the case? In our experience, no. (Method C) Sometimes the shipments are sent out strictly on a first ordered, first served basis. This means if Shop A ordered 200 "Happy Dolls" and they were the first to order, they might get all 200 before some shops ordering later get any.

Usually it seems that the New Release dolls and very limited edition dolls are sent out in a combination of Method A and Method B. Occasionally C is implemented but it's usually in combination with Method A and/or B.

Allocation is more strictly used on first runs of a new release doll and on dolls with smaller edition sizes. Dolls that have open editions can often be ordered for later runs without allocation issues. For dolls without restrictions, it's generally a first come, first served method.

To be honest, we've noticed over the years a number of different methods that Charisma Brands has used for allocation so our examples are not meant to serve as a guarantee of how they currently allocate or will allocate in the future. I know the above may seem a bit confusing and we do apologize. It is confusing! Luckily, most of this usually is not an issue for most customers as the turnaround and receipt for most new dolls is fairly quick.

As a general rule, please note that when a manufacturer such as Charisma Brands gives an ETA to retailers, it usually tentative and subject to change. Guarantees of ship dates to retailers are sometimes unrealistic due to unforseen circumstances so patience and understanding while waiting for shipments to arrive is always sincerely appreciated! The bottom line is we appreciate your business and want to get your dolls out to you as soon as possible and if they've arrived at Count Your Beans, we will post on our website and let you know as soon as we can, usually within 48 hours of receipt.

Please note when you see notes about a "split shipment" that means that we are receiving a partial supply of our initial order. When split shipments are received, we fill orders first by looking at the dates that each customer has ordered their doll and placed their initial deposit. After we find out how many actual dolls of each style we have physically gotten in, we will contact everyone on our pre-order list to let them know if their doll is in the first shipment or will be in the second shipment.

When dolls are received in split shipments, orders that have already been requested to be on layaway will automatically be allocated to the 2nd or later shipment unless you have indicated to us otherwise that you wanted to pay off your layaway early.

We want to service all of our customers in the best way possible. Information about ETAs will often change from week to week, even day by day. For one recent August release doll where there were allocation issues, there were 4 different ETA changes in the same week. The feedback we have received is that the most timely way to guarantee that everyone has access to current information is to post it on our website news page. For those that would like frequent email updates.We will soon be adding an opt-in newsletter to our website.

We are a family business dedicated to providing friendly customer service and treating each collector as a friend. It's just the two of us (Karen and John) and we do our best to answer all emails in a timely manner. We are happy to say that in most cases when we are in town, we are able to answer business emails within 1 - 2 business days of receipt (Monday - Friday, but we're often working on Saturday & Sunday too, so don't be surprised if you hear from us these days). Naturally, we want to get back to you as quickly as we can and try to answer letters in the order received in order to be fair to everyone.

That being said, if you have a Priority / Urgent / Emergency Issue, we want to help you! If you could please note "Priority" or "Urgent" issue in the subject header of your letter, this will make us aware to check your email and service you more quickly. First, we are so sorry to hear about this! We naturally don't want anyone to feel that they're not being respected or responded to. Let's make this right!

We know this is obvious, but please double-check that you wrote to the right email address, either countyourbeans@aol.com or cntyrbeans@aol.com. Our email addresses are easy to transpose or misspell and each week we receive quite a few forwarded emails that were originally sent to an invalid address.

Email address correct? Unfortunately, there are sometimes reasons beyond our control or knowledge which will cause an email to bounce to an AOL server. The good news is we know it isn't a personal thing because this happens to many AOL users. The bad news is that it feels personal, especially if you're the one not being personally responded to. If you have sent a general email and haven't heard from us within 2 business days or you need a quicker response, please forward a copy of your original email to BOTH cntyrbeans@aol.com and countyourbeans@aol.com with the subject header: Email Follow-Up. This will let us know there might be an email receipt issue. Sending a copy of the original email will allow us to try and trace your previous email if we don't show having received it and will allow us to let our service provider know if applicable that there is an issue.

If you have received a bounce back notice (Mailer Daemon Error) and your addressing was correct, chances are there is a temporary server error and if you try your email within a few hours, it will be corrected.

There is also another possibility. You may have written to us and we received your email but when we wrote back to you, you never received the response. With most ISPs aggressively fighting SPAM nowadays, email filters for many ISPs are often set on the highest security setting. Unknown emails will often be diverted or deleted. If you are having a problem hearing from us, please make sure to add our email addresses to your "address book" or approved email list to make sure our regular emails get through to your in-box. Please also check your spam / bulk / junk email folders to see if our responses were directed there. ISPs which we and other AOL users have often heard that emails are diverted to spam folders include: hotmail.com, msn.com, earthlink.net, cox.net, yahoo.com, business and .gov websites and many free providers.

Also, if you are paying for a website or auction order via PayPal and your PayPal address is NOT your current email address, please let us know where to write so we have a way to verify your payment receipt.

In closing, we want you to feel you're taken care of so if you don't hear from us, please give us the benefit of the doubt and try the methods above. We enjoy working with our customers and hope that you will never experience this problem but if you do, that you'll know it is definitely not personal and we'll try to correct it as soon as we're made aware of the issue.

If an item is not in stock at the present time, we are happy to take a pre-order or special reservation for your doll. All we require is a $5 deposit per tiny tot or doll under $50 and a $10 deposit per doll over $50.

Should you change your mind about a pre-order, we are happy to give you the option to transfer your full deposit fund to another doll within 3 days of your cancellation.

If your pre-order is for an item between $15 and $99 and you cancel completely with no replacement website purchases within 3 days of your cancellation, we do assess a $5 administrative fee per doll cancelled. If it is over $100 and you cancel your pre-order completely with no replacement website purchases within 3 days of your cancellation, the administrative fee is $10 per doll cancelled. Any remaining funds (if applicable) will be placed on store credit with Count Your Beans.

Please note that in order to keep our pricing competitive, we only issue Count Your Beans store credit for pre-order cancellations. There are no cash refunds.

Since we are obligated to keep the commitment to the manufacturer for the items we pre-order and have to inventory or find a new buyer for pre-ordered merchandise that customers cancel, we hope you'll respect and understand our policies. We do our best to keep our overhead low so that we can offer you great pricing and a wide variety of products. Thank you!

*** We are happy to offer a flexible layaway program for our customers. By placing a layaway with us, you are agreeing to all of our layaway terms including making payments on time. We offer 1 month (2 equal payments), 2 month (3 equal payments) and 3 month (4 equal payments) layaways of website orders of $100 or greater.

Example: You want to place a $150 doll on layaway on October 1st. Here are your choices:

2 Month Layaway: $50 down on October 1st, $50 due on November 1st, final $50 due on December 1st.

3 Month Layaway: $37.50 down on October 1st, $37.50 due on November 1st, $37.50 due on December 1st, $37.50 due on January 1st.

*** At the start of the layaway, we prefer a credit card on file so that we may charge your card in the appropriate intervals. Upon request, we can send you PayPal invoices each month or if you would prefer to mail in your layaway payments, we do accept money orders and checks. Please let us know your payment style preference at the beginning of the layaway. We will email you with a layaway payment receipt after each charge or mailed payment has been received.

*** Please note that is your responsiblity to make payment for your layaway on time and for contacting us if a payment is going to potentially be late. We do try to be flexible and will allow up to 5 days leeway (and sometimes longer if we are notified in advance of extenuating circumstances), however please note that if one payment is late, the next payment is still due on its original schedule. If we have not received a layaway payment within 2 days after its due date, we will contact you via email and/or phone with a friendly reminder. If after 5 days from your payment due date, we have not received payment and there has been no communication from you either by email or phone, your layaway order will be cancelled. Any items on layaway will be placed back into regular inventory and any layaway funds will be placed on store credit with Count Your Beans minus an administrative cancellation charge of $10 for each doll between $15 and $99, $20 for each doll between $100 and $200 and $30 for each doll that is $200 and above. Any remaining funds after administrative fees (if applicable) will be placed on store credit with Count Your Beans and are not refundable for cash.

*** Please note that in order for us to continue offering an affordable and reasonable layaway program to our customers, the price that your item is at the time you start your layaway will not be adjusted except in the cases of QVC show price matching for new release dolls that are placed on pre-order.

Example 1: It is September 19th and you would like to do a layaway for a Marie Osmond doll that will be shown on QVC on Marie's October 26th show. You place your $10 deposit and at the current time, the doll has a $149.95 suggested retail. On the show, QVC offers the doll at $134.95. We will adjust your layaway to that price point upon request.

Example 2: We have an older Marie Osmond doll on our website on sale for $119.95. You place that doll on a 3 month layaway on September 19th. On November 15th, you see that the doll is on sale at our website or elsewhere for $99.95. We will not be able to adjust your layaway pricing under this circumstance. (Please understand that there is a cost to us for holding layaway dolls. When a doll is held, we pay to inventory it and we do not have the opportunity to sell it immediately to someone else. We also generally have multiple credit card processing fees and our administrative costs are higher. Thank you for your understanding.)

*** Layaways are for CountYourBeans.com website orders $100 or greater and our maximum layaway is 90 days from date of a doll's arrival into our shop. If you have a smaller layaway or a significantly larger layaway or have special circumstances, please inquire for details.

*** Layaway dolls are not eligible for return once they have shipped, however if a doll arrives damaged or defective, it will be replaced or store credit will be given to your account.

*** Please note that layaway payments are transferrable to another item should you change your mind after placing an order, however there are some conditions. If a layaway doll is between $15 and $99 and you cancel completely with no replacement website purchases within 3 days of your cancellation, we will assess a $10 administrative fee. If a layaway doll or entire layaway doll order is between $100 and $200 and you cancel your layaway completely with no website order within 3 days of your cancellation, we will assess a $20 administrative fee. If a layaway doll or layaway order is over $200 and you cancel your layaway completely with no replacement website purchases within 3 days of your cancellation, we will assess a $30 administrative fee. Any remaining funds after administrative fees (if applicable) will be placed on store credit with Count Your Beans and are not refundable for cash.

Please note that in order to keep our pricing competitive, we only issue Count Your Beans store credit for layaway cancellations. There are no cash refunds. Since there is an expense in having to re-inventory and find a new buyer for layaway merchandise that customers cancel, we hope you'll respect and understand our policies. We do our best to keep our overhead low so that we can offer you great pricing and a wide variety of products and thank you for your support.

*** Please note that although layaway is available for most dolls on our website, we no longer offer layaway for retired items where we only have 1 or 2 left in stock. We also do not offer layaway for eBay or Amazon purchases, shipped orders under $100 or items that have an edition size below 300. By 9/21/09, we will be indicating which dolls on our website are not eligible for layaway.

Damaged Merchandise: We do our best to package your items carefully, however if breakage or damage occurs, we do insure your package. Please note that if merchandise arrives damaged in transit, an insurance claim must be filed in order to receive a replacement or refund and all original packaging material must be kept in order to make sure the claim is valid. If shipment was made through UPS (most domestic shipments), we will file the claim on your behalf upon notification from you but if shipment was made through USPS, the post office will most likely require you to file the claim at your local post office. If your order was shipped via UPS, the United Parcel Service requests that you hold your merchandise and packaging material up to 10 business days after the filing of the claim as they may need to come out and visually inspect the damage or pick up the merchandise and original packaging.

Please do NOT return merchandise damaged in transit to Count Your Beans or it will invalidate your insurance claim with the carrier and we will not be able to reimburse you for the damage. All damage claims must be reported to countyourbeans@aol.com within 3 business days of receiving the merchandise.

Defective Merchandise: Please note that if merchandise or a merchandise accessory arrives with a manufacturer defect and the damage did not occur in transit, we will work with you to replace your defective item, issue a credit or refund your purchase price including shipping. We must know about the problem within 3 business days of receiving the merchandise. Please email countyourbeans@aol.com.

Merchandise you have changed your mind about: We hope that you are pleased with your purchase but should you receive your item and decide it's not for you, we will accept a return if you notify us at countyourbeans@aol.com within 7 days of receiving your item. Please explain why you are unhappy and ask for an RMA number that you can write on the outside of your shipping box. Please note that if you return an item to Count Your Beans without an RMA number or approval, this will delay and potentially invalidate your refund / return.

If your item is still in the box in mint shape, never removed, we will issue a store credit minus actual shipping costs if we paid to ship your order to you. You are responsible for return insured shipping to us. If your item has been removed from the box but is still mint, we will issue store credit for the amount of the purchase minus actual shipping costs if we paid to ship your order to you. If your item is no longer in mint condition or you have had your item for longer than 7 days, we unfortunately cannot accept a return.

Order returns over $100 where another item of equal value is not purchased within 5 days of the return will also be assessed a 15% restocking fee. Please note that in order to keep our prices competitive, we only issue store credit for returns. There are no cash refunds. (As we do our best to keep our overhead low so that we can offer you great pricing and a wide variety of products, we hope you'll understand.)

We offer FREE UPS Ground/Insured delivery in the continental USA on all website orders of $75 or greater. In order to qualify for Free S/H, your order must be $75 or greater and $75 or more worth of merchandise must ship at one time. You may combine Marie Osmond Doll orders with other purchases from our website in order to meet the $75 threshold. If you wish to ship UPS 2 or 3 day Select, USPS Express, USPS Priority/Insured, USPS Parcel Post or you live outside the continental USA, we will offer a partial shipping credit towards shipping fees. Please inquire for rates.

If your shipped order is less than $75 and you live within the continental USA, your shipping rate will be:

$11.50 for orders from $45.00 - $59.99 ** (except tiny tots or orders under 2 lbs will be assessed at $9.00)

Orders under 2 lbs are usually shipped via USPS and orders over 2 lbs are shipped via UPS delivery. Please note that the shopping cart system calculates S/H based on UPS Grd/Ins S/H in continental USA. If you will be shipping via the United States Postal Service either inside or outside of the USA or will be using expedited shipping methods, shipping rates will be different and we will send an invoice for the difference.

Generally orders are shipped Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays except during certain times of the year when we may be out of town or closed for a holiday. During the busy holiday season, we will often add additional shipping days to help expedite orders. If your order is in stock, we do our best to ship all orders the first business shipping day after payment clearance, however during especially busy times, please allow up to 3 business days for shipment. If your order is a rush delivery, please let us know at the time of payment so that we may do our best to accommodate you.
