Now living in Ohio, Kathy Smith-Fitzpatrick began her formal art training in Boston in the early 70's. Children and animals have always been a favorite subject matter, but creating dolls occurred quite by accident. She discovered the doll world while searching for a piece of reference at a magazine rack. For her, the idea of working in the third dimension as opposed to flat artwork remains an intriguing creative challenge to this day. Since 1992, Kathy Smith Fitzpatrick has created numerous porcelain and polymer clay dolls for manufacturers including Paradise Galleries, Marie Osmond, Charisma Brands, private collectors and dealers alike, several of them award winners including the 2004 Dolls Award of Excellence.

Price matching is not available for retired / end of edition dolls. **Free UPS Ground/Insured S/H in the continental USA for all Website purchases $50 or greater. You may combine Tom Francirek dolls with purchases from our other lines in order to reach the $50 threshold. For payment we accept money orders and checks. Personal and business checks are subject to a 7 business day hold, however if we've done business successfully with you in the past, we may waive part of this hold or all of this hold at our discretion. We also accept electronic checks and credit card payment through PayPal. PayPal accepts Visa/MC/AmEx/Discover. If an item is not in stock at the present time, we are happy to take a pre-order or special reservation for your bear. All we require is a $5 deposit per item under $50 and a $10 deposit per item over $50. Please note that deposits are transferrable to another item or refundable in store credit should you change your mind after placing an order.

We are happy to offer a flexible layaway program. At this time, we tailor our program to each individual. Please inquire for details.

Generally orders are shipped Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays except during certain times of the year when we may be out of town or closed for a holiday. During the busy holiday season, we will often add additional shipping days. We do our best to ship all orders the first business shipping day after payment clearance, however during especially busy times, please allow up to 3 business days for shipment.
