This page is to introduce you to the President and Founder of Show-Stoppers, Florence Maranuk.
The Count Your Beans family, Karen and John have felt honored to have the chance to meet Florence (Flossie) Maranuk on a number of occasions when Show Stoppers was exhibiting their dolls at the San Francisco International Gift Show. What impresses about Flossie aside from her gorgeous dolls, incredible variety and super pricing is the fact that her business is a family affair. Her husband and children are integral members of the Show Stoppers team. Flossie has a sense of humor and is known for fantastic fairies, expressive dolls and many award-winning pieces!
Flossie Maranuk, President and Founder of Show Stoppers was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Brandywine College in Delaware and founded Show Stoppers 21 years ago in 1983. Her premiere doll was at the New York Gift Show. There are currently over ONE MILLION Florence Maranuk dolls in the loving hands of enthusiastic collectors worldwide.
Flossie's fascination with travel brings her to some of the most exotic countries worldwide for several months each year. Her love of travel combined with her deep fascination with people and children throughout the world is reflected in her designs. Her prestigious Florence Maranuk Collection is avidly sought by knowledgeable collectors and there are many lovely Limited Edition dolls, fairies, mermaids, witches and gift items in this collection.
Flossie currently heads a team of national and international sculptors and costume designers. Attention to detail is the cornerstone of her success. The exquisite materials used, the expressive sculptings, and the innovative designs combine in an art form that makes her dolls speak for themselves. Flossie currently resides in Brigantine, New Jersey.

Count Your Beans has just relocated from California to Washington! We look forward to serving you from our new location!
Update: 7/25/07 - Our website was closed for shipment from 7/4 - 7/24 while we were in the process of relocating to Washington. Although we are now re-open, there may be periodic shipping delays throughout the next two weeks as we are currently in the process of reorganizing at our new location and updating our inventory. We are also currently in the process of returning emails and phone calls from the past 3 weeks. (We are trying to answer in the order received to be fair to everyone.) This week we will be shipping on 7/24, 7/26 & 7/27. Next week we plan to resume regular Monday, Wednesday, Friday shipping. We appreciate your support and patience while we make this transition.
