Welcome from John, Karen, Justin & Ryan
Since the Count Your Beans family first came online in 1999, a percentage of all our website and auction profits have been donated to Charities that help Children as well as many other worthwhile organizations. The family of Count Your Beans has been very blessed with love, with life, with wonderful customers. We have always believed that businesses should give back to the community in which they serve.
Every Penny Counts!

Here is a Partial Listing of where we have made donations from 1999-2008. These charities are listed in NO particular order and ALL are worthy in our eyes! We try to rotate them on our website on a quarterly basis so all will get fair exposure. We wish we could help more! ** New ** means added within the past year.
If you'd like to help too and choose a special charity to help, you can donate Bonus Beans that you have earned from us and turn them into cash donations. To reward your generosity, we offer partial or full donation matching for Bonus Beans redemptions. See here for details!
Autism Speaks - ** New * Through historic
mergers with the Autism Coalition for Research and Education (ACRE), the National Alliance
for Autism Research (NAAR), and, most recently, Cure Autism Now (CAN), Autism Speaks is
now one of the largest foundations dedicated to autism in the world, with more than 130
employees, and walk chapters across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
In 2006 alone, they raised over $33 million and committed $25 million to fund scientific
research. They lobbied hard and successfully for passage by the federal government of the
landmark Combating Autism Act. And we significantly raised autism's profile through our Ad
Council campaign and a variety of media appearances on television, radio, and print. These
are just a few of the many accomplishments Autism Speaks has recently had.

March of Dimes - Four major problems threaten the health of America's babies: birth defects, infant mortality, low birthweight, and lack of prenatal care. The March of Dimes has adopted goals for the year 2000 to bring us closer to the day when all babies will be born healthy. These goals include:
Reduce birth defects by 10 percent.Birth defects can -- and do -- happen to anyone. They affect more than 150,000 babies each year and are the leading cause of infant mortality in this country. The causes of about 60 percent of birth defects remain unknown.
Reduce infant mortality to 7 per 1,000 live births. While the U.S. infant mortality rate is now at an all-time low, 33,000 babies still die before their first birthday each year. Our country ranks 25th internationally in its rate of infant mortality. That means that babies born in 24 other countries have a better chance of living to their first birthday than babies born in the United States.
Reduce low birthweight to no more than 5 percent of all live births.Nearly 290,000 low-birthweight babies (under 5.5 pounds)are born each year in the United States. Babies born at low birthweight are 21 times as likely as other babies to die in their first year. Or they may face lifelong health problems.
Increase the number of women who get prenatal care in the first trimester to 90 percent. Late or no prenatal care increases the chance that certain health problems may go undetected. Currently, only 82 percent of mothers receive prenatal care in the first trimester.
